Pumpay's Terms of Service

Welcome to Pumpay. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pumpay platform, including our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using any part of our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Pumpay.

By accessing or using Pumpay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.

Pumpay provides a technology platform that connects customers, dispatch riders, and partner fuel stations for fuel ordering and delivery services.

To use Pumpay, you must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate and complete account information, use the Platform only for lawful purposes, and comply with all applicable fuel, safety, transportation, and payment regulations in your jurisdiction.

By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Pumpay enables users to order fuel through the app, select a delivery location, make payments, track fuel delivery in real time, receive delivery confirmation, and communicate with customer support.

To fulfill orders, Pumpay may partner with licensed fuel stations and independent dispatch riders. The nature, availability, and terms of these services may change at any time.

As a user of Pumpay, you agree to provide accurate delivery information, ensure someone is available to receive your order, make full payment for all orders placed, and follow all safety instructions during delivery. You must not misuse the Platform, provide false or fraudulent information, or engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the Platform or other users.

Pumpay will make reasonable efforts to complete all orders in a timely manner. However, delivery may be affected by traffic or road conditions, fuel availability at partner stations, weather or security conditions, government restrictions, partner station delays, or incorrect delivery information provided by the user.

Users agree to pay all applicable charges, including the fuel cost, delivery fee, service fee, and any taxes or regulatory charges where applicable. Prices may vary based on current fuel market rates, your delivery location and distance, and partner station pricing. All charges will be disclosed at the time of ordering.

Partner fuel stations are responsible for supplying quality fuel, complying with all applicable licensing requirements, releasing the correct fuel quantity for each order, and following safety and regulatory standards. Pumpay may suspend or remove partners that violate platform rules or fail to maintain required standards.

You may not use Pumpay to engage in illegal fuel resale, commit fraud or payment abuse, harass riders, partners, or Pumpay staff, submit false or fictitious orders, interfere with the Platform or its infrastructure, access another person's account without their permission, or violate any applicable fuel safety laws or regulations. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where appropriate.

Pumpay reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts found to be involved in fraud or non-payment, abuse of the Platform, safety violations, providing false information, or any other breach of these Terms. We may act without prior notice where we determine that immediate action is necessary to protect users, partners, or the Platform.

All Pumpay logos, trademarks, designs, software, content, and platform features are the property of Pumpay or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Pumpay materials without our prior written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pumpay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, delivery delays outside our control, losses caused by user negligence, misconduct by partner fuel stations, rider misconduct outside the scope of platform rules, or losses caused by incorrect information provided by users.

Pumpay may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of its services at any time due to maintenance, technical issues, market conditions, or regulatory requirements. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance where possible, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform.

Your use of Pumpay is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you also agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Pumpay may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app, website, or email. Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
